So the current #JNU protest is currently being fought on the narrative set by the government and it's lackey media which is trying to show the issue is all about the subsidy given. We need to change that narrative.

1.#ElitistBJP is against good education of the poor.
2. #AntieducationBJP is destroying the education system in India.

The idea is to get a narrative which everyone in the country get behind. To bring back the focus to education and education of poor.

@Vishsai Perfectly put yet needs simplification.
1. Average person is logical and smart, may not be fluent with written or spoken word.
2. RW took the space vacated by elitism.

@Battrebeet Localising it is one way I was hoping that can simply that ShikshaVirodhiBJP and having issues which the local people connect to.

To take the glare of negativity away from the JNU protest and shift it.

Any other suggestion changes am listening on how we can make it simpler.

@Vishsai appeal to them without calling out their political affiliations. People are smart, they understand.

@Battrebeet The reason I added BJP was that
1. You need an entity to take the blame. Have a single one is better as when left to people they can even turn the conversation to congress.

2.I am hoping that by focusing on BJP it will give other political parties a reason to join and make it a pan nation movement.

3. Right now the thinking is to associate everything to BJP. The falling education, economy, farmers distress and failing consumption all back to BJP. So there is a repetition.

@Vishsai cool. Did your idea get traction? If not then rethink.
@Battrebeet OK will do so. Thank you for your suggestions.
@Vishsai @Battrebeet #jnuprotest reminds us that access to good education is a life changer. Subjects we study may not matter as much as the opportunity to examine thoughts independently, for their own sake. What the privileged take for granted, is a revelation & new world for kids not so fortunate. Denial of education, is one means of keeping the underclass subservient. Arjuna & Drona's treatment of Ekalavya is replicated by HRD's treatment of #JNU's students. Jai Hind, Jai Bhim.
@sanjayuvacha elitism is the core issue. RW and LW have paddled their issues and perspectives. Unlike yours most of the handles were happy to just ignore a common man's thought. None had the patience to elucidate. How can one ignore years of social conditioning? @Vishsai
@Battrebeet @sanjayuvacha @Vishsai hi guys i wrote rant relating to this yesterday, please give honest feedback if you read, thanks! https://mastodon.social/@forkedtongue7/103141862438554992
@forkedtongue7 Makes sense. But for some it is a vision of some Hindu Utopia that is going to be created by Modi that has resulted in people voting for him even though they were suffering. All this suffering is temporary and necessary for a brighter future. @Battrebeet @sanjayuvacha
@Vishsai @Battrebeet @sanjayuvacha that's totally true and part of the modi narrative, it's not even utopia, per them utopia exited before british and mughals, we just have to "take" it back
