What better birthday it could be than celebrating with the resilient women and men who are determined to fight inequality and injustice and reclaim the republic.
Best birthday ever!
Indian Republic Day today.
Today, I take a vow to give back to ourselves our Constitution.
I feel very proud of my father for what he did as a school boy in 1942. Even then the British were saying students should not indulge in politics, just like what patrician right wingers are saying today.

โ@ajay43 My father, a school going teen in 1942 had tarred the Statue of Queen Victoria that used to be on the RBI Square in Nagpur with two friends. Declared an offender he lost one academic year. Never claimed a freedom fighter certificate. Super proud. @Irish_Atheist @Kirtiโ
Chaurasia pushed and shoved. Maybe few slaps too. I condemn.

The people of #Muzaffarpur #Bihar protesting against #CAA_NRC_NPR
This is 11.30 PM and chilling out there but that doesn't stop people from coming out to protest.
Like all the others, this is a women-led 24 Hours Sit-In demonstration
I have been working with them for the last 5 days. Watch this space for more.
