<eleanor>i really want to try eating insects but im also like worried i wont get over the idea of basically being like an alien in a star war cantina eating an appetizer of small alien creatures cooked whole? i know a lot of places already eat them but never considering it until recently and never really even thinking of it it's just so alien to me it will feel hella cartoon and bizarre to do.
Haravanda@root I've grown up eating bugs before :D the easiest are silk caterpillar/cocoon cuz they taste like salty chalky pills! You can buy a can of them at the asian market sometimes and stir fry with salt and stringed lime leaf or grated citrus peel goes nicely with rice :D
Bug omelette is cool too, just be sure to include citrus peel.
