#gardening question - is there an easy way to separate a lot of radish seeds from their pods?

I've tried a rolling pin, a meat tenderizer, and beating them in the kitchen-aid with no real success. I know I *could* do it by hand but I have enough that I'd really rather not.

Saving Brassica Vegetable Seed

@mcmoots have the pods dried out completely? They should crush fairly easily if they have. Then I usually use a seive and pick through batches to remove the largest debris.

@luminesce they have. They're easy to crush with my hands but I need a faster mechanical method.

This is for sprouting/mustard, not seed saving.

@mcmoots Just try putting them into a brown paper bag and stick 'em in a dark closet for the winter. Dried out seeds don't require processing. Sounds like it might be just too unripe to "harvest"?
@indie my plan is to eat them (as sprouts & as mustard), not plant them.
@mcmoots if u can crush the pods finely (they have to be very dry), put everything on a pan/cutting board, tilt it abit around 20 dgr and shake around, the seeds should be dense and round enought to roll faster than the husks, this method works for other seeds so might mork radishes
