Scribbled this on my iPad yesterday at the doctors office. Obviously didn’t go very far with it, but I’m still trying to get a feel for drawing on the iPad, I’d really like to be able to work on art on the go. This was done in Sketchbook Pro!

@aeronaute I want to try procreate, but I think I’ll have to save it for when I (eventually) upgrade my iPad... it takes a lot out of mine already to draw on it. I’ve seen people doing some really great things with the iPad Pro + Apple Pencil!

@elliemars I have the 12.9" iPad Pro. If I were to get another, I'd go smaller, since the size and weight is a bit unwieldy. Either the smaller iPad Pro, or even the new iPad that now supports the pencil.

SketchClub tends to run well on older hardware, and can connect you to a community doing amazing things with iPad art.

@elliemars I'm at nowhere near the skill level you are, but have grown to LOVE sketching and drawing on my iPad Pro. I use mostly Paper By 53.

@chrisdomico nice! Ive tried quite a few different art apps but sketchbook so far feels the best match for my art style. (I’m using an iPad 3 which is frankly past its prime but... I’m dreaming of that iPad Pro!

@TheOuterLinux I plan to! I actually was at the store today messing around with the iPad pros and was REALLY impressed with procreate, I can’t wait to take a real crack at it!
