This is terrible news. #BREAKING: All Orchard Supply Hardware stores will permanently close by the end of the year, according to PR Director for Lowe's. Lowe's owns OSH, which was founded in #SanJose in 1931. Liquidation will begin Thursday. 95 stores in #California with around 4,000 employees. https://twitter.com/NBCian/status/1032083360435163136/photo/1. OSH os my favorite mid-grade hardware store, halfway between the crammed neighborhood store and the big box. Long history in the Valley.

@Cdespinosa that's sad. We have one 6 miles from us here in Oregon, and love it.
@Cdespinosa Damn. They're like the polar opposite of Lowe's, too—every time I go into Lowe's, I can feel my soul draining from my body.
@Cdespinosa noooooooo! They had already closed my local OSH before this year (Lawrence & El Camino) but it was always worth the trek to Sunnyvale & Cupertino. I will dearly miss these stores
