Changeling Mx#ProTip If you have posts that are read by #ScreenReader users and you're using a hashtag with more than one word, capitalize the first letter of each word to trick the reader into saying the words correctly. It does not interfere with search results at all.
Satsuma [moved]@ChangelingRandy pleroma lowercases all hashtags for some reason, unfortunately, but if Mastodon users do it than it’ll hopefully set precedent for future implementations
@Satsuma That is unfortunate, but nobody’s gonna come after you for not doing it. In the meantime, you can help visually impaired users by making sure that photos you post have descriptions. :)
