I browsed friend's copy of Call of Cthulhu 7ed. It's nice and all, but I do miss the times when one book was enough. One book of half the size.

I'm happy with my 5.5, but apparently CoC 7ed is released as 2 books.

Actually, I would just drop about 100 pages of text you don't need and make one, thinner book. If you give ANY edition of CoC I've read a decent editing and organization job you would improve how well it is to play by 500x
