The #Zepp app, which is the phone app for #amazfit watches, suffers from notification constipation.

I have it set to notify me on lots of stuff. Signal, mastodon (Ice Cubes), SMS. Sometimes it goes a while without notifying me of anything. Then I look at the Notification Centre on my phone to clear old notifications out. Suddenly the watch buzzes like 20 times for all the notifications it had missed.

It will work for a while, then block up again.

The app (#zepp) that goes to my fitness watch (#amazfit) has this graph on the weight page. It just doesn’t make sense to me. A person’s weight is only about them. There is no use comparing my weight to the weights of a population of app users.

The 2 headings don’t agree on what the graph means. One says “similar” users, without defining “similar.” And the other just says “users”, and I bet that’s right: it’s all Zepp users, not a subset who are similar to me.

And yes. I do need to lose weight. Thanks, App, for reminding me in a pointless way.
