What I enjoy is building patches that are like elaborate washing machine cycles. Different stages, with different parts interacting in different ways. Moments when it doesn't seem to be doing anything, followed by big spin cycles that threaten to fling the speakers from their shelf.
Yeah, some audiophile will now tell me that speakers aren't optimised on a shelf. It's a fucking washing machine, yeah?
