(il n’y a pas de <base /> dans #xhtml2 au fait)

The more I read the #XHTML2 spec the more my despise for the #WHATWG grows.

Did you know that XHTML2 had client-side includes, with fallback?

@inseo Pour les 10 ans, cela avait été reproché. Donc c'est bien de ne pas retomber dans le piège.

Cela dit, quand même, le canard... :D #xhtml2.0

@Natouille @notabene

I just saw Steven Pemberton on tv and was reminded of the time I almost hit him on his bike with my car in Amsterdam. Entirely unintentional and nothing at all to do with my personal opinion of #XHTML2, of course 😐

#WebComponents:

- Allow custom elements to be declared (With bizzare ideas about namespaces).
- Doesn't interoperate well with React (Poor compatibility with existing web standards) .
- Rely on JS so anything being incorrect means failure (Draconian Error Handling).
- Years in standards discussions with minimal traction (but are totally going to be a thing).

All who reject #XML tech are doomed to reinvent poor copies of it; who knew the WHATWG et al. would spend their time making #XHTML2 😂
