Not a fan of this episode overall, despite otherwise liking a few specific things.
That's my feeling at the moment, anyway. (With some distance & time, I'll probably feel different).
Most likely it's because I'm invested in certain characters & therefore had a poor reaction to the ending..and that's probably still colouring my overall perspective π
But mostly, the denouements of both episodes 6 & 7 felt..violating. Albeit in different ways.
In the case of ep7, I guess I understand why the things happened, dramatically & psychologically. But I don't have to be happy about it π

The Wheel of Time S2E7 discussion post is up over at tar-valon.dreamwidth.org.
There's likely to be at least one more brutal Egwene-Renna scene, either in ep7 or ep8. Given what the show has done so far, I doubt they'll hold anything back.
There may be one more traumatic Aes Sedai-damane scene? I'm less certain about this one (am just making some guesses from IMDB..), but wouldn't be surprised if the show goes there now.
If you're sensitive about violence done to animals, there's probably something coming up in ep7 or ep8, but more likely ep8 - assuming it happens in S2. I'm being purposely vague, but be prepared..
