17 der 67 praemierten #Worldpressfotos sind Schwarz-Weiss (B&W). Ich frag mich ernsthaft, ob dieser Erfolg fuer SW auf die Monochrom von LEICA zurueckgeht. ich glaube JA.

Als meine M(240) mal ins Mutterhaus musste, bekam ich eine Monochrom als Ersatzgeraet ... und das war wirklich geil.

Die World Press Photo Awards gehören zu den wichtigsten Wettbewerben für Pressefotografen weltweit. In diesem Jahr reichten rund 4000 Fotografen 74.000 Aufnahmen ein. Die ausgezeichneten Bilder wurden bislang in einer Wanderausstellung rund um die Welt gezeigt - das geht wegen Corona diesmal nicht. Die Preisträger wurden am 16. April gekürt, ihre Fotos werden nun online präsentiert.
