I received this book today from the Author, Ros Ollin, and I have read it in one sitting.
It is a book of poems inspired by the tragic story of Elspeth McEwan, who was the last woman burned in Galloway as a witch.
The poems are powerful and moving, and I thoroughly recommend folk getting their hands on a copy.

Got a new video coming out later today about a young woman from Closeburn, Thornhill, who thought she was either 'possessed' or a witch. It's a bit of an unusual tale from the era of #witchPanics
I read about her years ago, and finally I managed to film her story, but it's a tricky one because of some of the language she used to describe her visions.
