YAM – Local AST-based plagiarism detector (MOSS alternative)

I wrote YAM as a fast, private alternative to MOSS that runs completely on your own machine. Can run in command line mode or in server mode if you want to host it inside your firewall. Combines the winnowing approach with AST structural analysis.

WAPO—#Trump is at risk of being what he least wants to be: boring.

Republicans are #meh. His campaign events fall flat. His shtick is old.

The more #boring #Trump becomes, the less likely it is he’ll win the #nomination — and the less need there is to pay attention to what he’s saying. In short order, his political career flickers out, leaving him as the guy who is hawking NFTs to a #die-hard, #winnowing base of #enthusiasts.

@jodystillwrites I tend to #write ✍️ first thing in the morning. Before the #editor is awake. Sometimes I tap into my phone, where editing is harder. Sometimes scribble in the almost dark room. I like unlined scratch paper (discarded printing on other side). All tricks to keep the #critic away. If it's just scribbling the editor ignores. Sometimes I demand 5 pages before I can edit. #Writing is creative. So is #editing. When I #edit I see how many words I can cross out. The #winnowing is fun too!
