Crabapple paste. A twist on membrillo/quince “cheese.” Cook down 1-to-1 by weight crabapple purée (make sure there’s still some juice present) and sugar to a thick paste. You could add a little lemon juice too. Transfer to a pan with parchment paper to let dry/set. Then cut into pieces. I rolled mine in sugar afterwards as well. Great as a tart, sugary treat.
