Reading an excellent book: "Ship of Gold in the Deep Blue Sea", and its fascinating to read about the background of the two people who went on to discover the shipwreck, their unconventional upbringing, etc..
But it made me think something I hadn't before, this is just one more aspect of #WhitePriviledge. You don't have to be concerned with anything except your own development. Not safety, not the future, not your family, none of that. All protected. All secure. So sure, you can risk experiment

The thief's husband, a judge, creates a birth certificate and a story, and they raise the stolen child as their own. The little girl's memories of her life before being stolen, are dismissed and erased.
