The building appears to have been renovated/modernised (and to my eyes bastardised) by the old "variegated" white, wooden window frames being replaced with homogenous brown "modern" window frames.
I'm wondering if also the (modern?) paint used in that project has different visual properties to that previously on the surface.
(Reminded of the #WASO brass instruments - they now all look to be made of C-3PO gold plastic. Yuck. Great for Las Vegas.)
