So I might be the only person to ever throw this out there but in The Waltons episode The Changeling (Season 7, Episode 5, 1978 ), a poltergeist terrorizes the family when Elizabeth is on the cusp of turning 13.

Supposedly the Warrens acquired Annabelle in 1970. (which it could have been 1979 for all we know)
