A lot of my wallpapers reflect the theme of misplaced energy. This set features Commodore Decker, commanding officer of the ill-fated USS Constellation, escaping security to steal a shuttlecraft to try and destroy the Doomsday Machine himself. The second pic shows Imperial scout troopers, hard at it pursuing Din Djarin, so dedicated even though the Empire has fallen. #wallpaperoftheday
#wallpaperoftheday Proof positive just how evil the Galactic Empire truly is: look at the awful user experience of these top deck control panels. You can almost see everyone actively getting lower back pain just trying to do their damn job. Palpatine definitely deserves to fall right down the Death Star core and not somehow return. #starwars

1. William Blake, The Good and Evil Angels. Blake’s art is a magic trip!
2. Map of part of the Pacific Ocean.
3. The TARDIS crew watching TV. It took about 50 years before they thought to have seating on the TARDIS.

1. This is totally how we will dress in the 2030s. Still from The Shape of Things to Come (1936)
2. The single happy moment of All Quiet on the Western Front, when the boys find out they are going to war. Oh, yes!
3. An extremely fine detail from an extremely fine Chinese painting, also about war.

1. Capaldi’s hands on Hartnell’s console. (Sounds a bit dodgy when I say it that way) (NB Hartnell also wore a ring with a blue stone)
2. IDK what this guy saw before he got turned to stone, but it wasn’t good
3. Scene from Battleship Potemkin, one of the movies that every true fan of filmmaking is recommended to watch
4. BONUS: This pic is all about perspective
