I am running out of sounds that are ideas, so I am reaching for the next best thing today: ideas that might be sounds.
I have followed up on this notion I had this morning of gestures controlling gestures.
What you're hearing was once a Dies Irae sequence played together in fourths. It's really just one sequence! In between each voice and the conductor is a gesture, modulating the conductor and creating a new conductor. The result is really weird metric modulation.

ugh. this nearly didn't happen. the bugs I uncovered yesterday proved to be more involved than I expected. Mistakes were made. Things were built.
I actually did have half of an idea with the pads that I started yesterday before pivoting. The rest was thrown together.

This one is thinking about the procession of the elves music in LOTR fellowship. The vibe kind of took a bit of a dark turn though.
