Gobsmacked to discover that Dean Friedman, whose 1978 single "Lucky Stars" I bought as a kid and loved, made a series of video tutorials on sound synthesis in the mid-80s. And they're excellent, explaining tricky concepts in very understandable terms. In the past year I've got hold of a couple of Korg Volca synths and have been trying to get my head around them. Dean's videos have been incredibly helpful with that. They look a bit dated and cheesy, but the basic concepts of synthesis are still the same.
