What I love about photography is finding unique, different places that change with the light. I discovered this isolated tree during a trip to Scotland, not far from the Glencoe Valley on my way to the Isle of Skye.

One of my favorite locations on the Isle Of Skye are the Fairy Pools. A few little waterfalls with the Black Cullin's mountain range as backdrop provide a magical view.
It's been almost 2 years since I was there. Would love to go back there again sometime soon.

The hike along the rocks offers great views of the landscape behind every bend and gives you the feeling of being in one of the scenes of 'The Highlander'. In fact the Quiraing was used as a background in some scenes.

The Fairy Glen is a bizarre and delightful miniature landscape of grassy, cone-shaped hills. The one you see on this photo looks like a ruin and has been called Castle Ewan.
