Der Balfrin Gipfel mit dem Balfringletscher im letzten Sonnenlicht des Tages. Wir waren auf der gegenüberliegenden Talseite unterwegs und das Abendlicht hat die eingefrohrenen und vergletscherten Bergflanken in magisches Licht getaucht. Die Wolken über den Gipfeln haben ihre Schatten über die Szene gestreut und so hat sich das Balfrin-Massiv in seiner ganzen Schönheit gezeigt. Wer genau hinschaut, der kann im Vordergrund noch die Seetal-Bergstation, unterhalb des Seetalhorns, vom Skigebiet in Grächen erkennen.

The Balfrin summit in the last sunlight of the day. We were on the opposite side of the valley and the evening light bathed the frozen and glaciated mountain flanks in magical light. The clouds above the peaks scattered their shadows across the scene, revealing the Balfrin massif in all its beauty. If you look closely, you can still make out the Seetal mountain station, below the Seetalhorn, from the ski resort in Grächen in the foreground.
