This is the mini Buffer with variable output Impedance and it's suitable for use with a guitar, bass and any other instrument with similar pickups.
A buffer is a circuit where the output is the same as the input. The "secret" is that this particular buffer circuit has a very high input impedance (10Mohm) and variable output impedance (0~220kohm).

Without getting into many details this eventually means that it improves the high frequency response of your overall pedal chain so that you don't lose your tone as your highs aren't getting sucked up.

Additionally, through its single knob you can adjust its output impedance to match the output impedance of your guitar pickups so that any pedal (e.g. a vintage fuzz, or any low input impedance pedal) that comes after the buffer behaves in the same manner as when you connect the guitar directly to it.

A buffer can also help you run long cords without risking losing tone or making your sound bassy and muffled

- Input impedance: 10Mohm (constant)
- Output Impedance: variable 0~220kohm
- Voltage Required: DC 9-24 Volt (Use 12-24V for more headroom)
- Max Current draw: 4mA @ 9 volts
- Aluminum Enclosure, dimensions: 93 x 38 x 32mm (3.66 x 1.49 x 1.26in)

Variable High Pass filter 200-20Hz with variable output impedance.
Are you searching for something that will help you "clean up" the low end? This is it!

This is an active variable HPF that offers you the ability to select a cut-off frequency anywhere inside the range 200Hz-20Hz by using the respective knob. The filter’s curve is quite steep offering a
12dB/octave attenuation.

Additionally, by using the 2nd knob you can change the output impedance of the circuit and choose a value in the range: 0ohm-220kohm.

This feature can be useful in some cases where a pedal with low input impedance follows the filter (e.g. a germanium fuzz, vintage effects, etc) and might sound much better when paired with an output impedance that resembles the impedance of an instrument’s passive pickups (typically around 10k-20kohm) or even higher.

It’s the ideal device if you are looking for something to help you "clean up” the low end of your signal. It will work fine with active or passive instruments, as well as with other devices such as pedals, preamps, or even in FX loops.

The HPF circuit can be completely bypassed using the footswitch (true bypass).
