Melburnians braved our infrequent public transport on Sunday morning to watch the beautiful game, and so many football fans in Melbourne are preparing to do it all again next week.
The Socceroos' next group stage game is against the USA, at 5am this Saturday. While the Night Network will be running, many people who are willing to attend, cannot due to lack of access to the Night Network, or the lack of a service frequent enough for use; forcing fans to utilise rideshares or drive into the city instead.
Students and young people don't always fall under the 9-5 schedule, and neither do football fans.
