Move to repatriate 116 historical objects taken by #British during sacking of Benin in 1897. Culture minister of Nigeria, #LaiMohammed, urged #BritishMuseum to follow example of the #SmithsonianInstitution, which returned ownership of 29 Benin bronzes to Nigeria.
