Garrulous Ambivert #SNP1SGP2Yesterday had my winter flu vax (no side effects at all, so far). I'm not in a qualifying group for a Covid booster, but the medics were trying everything for me to get it "on the nod" ~ it was clear I could claim any of the qualifying conditions & they would've given me it. But, even though she died last year my mother's voice is strong in my head & I couldn't betray my upbringing. So no Covid booster for me #ukcovid

9-Apr XBB.1.5 falling to 45% about to be overtaken by "Other" on 40%
GP today for a routine blood pressure check. Surrounded by old people in the surgery waiting room. I was the only one wearing a mask. The nurse apologised for not wearing a mask. She said Long Covid had left her breathless and tired. She can't cope with wearing one all day.

1. Change Vax 12+ to Vax 5+. Vax has been available to 5-11 years for nearly a year now.
2.Include the ONS Survey estimates for active cases. With low testing, the confirmed case data is suspect.

Today's UK Gov stats. New cases, hospital admissions, Hospital patients all beginning to rise again. England deaths still over 700 pw. New cases up 20% last week compared with week before.
