Academically, languages I work on are #Sal languages including #Bodo #Garo #Tangsa #Nocte #Wancho #Jinghpaw (#Jingpho), other Northeast Indian languages including #Maring #Uipo and languages of #Manipur. I also do description and fieldwork on #Chinese languages, notably #Wu, #Hakka and more recently #Min. I've been involved with minority language issues in China since around 2008 and active in Northeast India and #Myanmar since 2015.
