I was at #twitchCon today and took my iPhone as my phone. Mostly because the train rides there and back are long and the iPhone has more games.
Having used Android primarily for years I rather like iOS still, but good god is Apple Wallet annoying.
On Android, I have a fingerprint reader. If I need to pay something, I unlock my phone with my hand, and when it gets to be time to pay, I hover it over the payment terminal and we're done.
on iOS:

- Press unlock button.
- Hold phone in front of face for face ID
- Press lock button twice.
- Hold phone in front of face again for face ID>
- Hold phone still over reader. Sometimes this works, sometimes the slightest movement throws it off. Sometimes, it decides I'm a thief and forces me to enter my pass code, particularly in loud, busy environments with a line queueing up behind me where I can barely hear my phone.

Is this REALLY the intended behavior?
