i'll make a more official post about it later today, but figured i'd let y'all know i'm gonna open for a handful more commission slots, same as my last round!
it's a tough job market and i'm still waiting to hear back on some applications while getting rejections from others 
...still gotta pay the bills somehow, though!
to elaborate on the end of my previous post, i've found it hard to post much of my own stuff online the last few months....probably a combination of complete burnout and the loss of a space i really enjoyed (rip cohost 
), plus the existence of a massive backlog of art that makes it harder with each new thing i make
i know those last two things might sound trivial, but idk...adhd, i guess? it's work to share stuff online, and being burned out means i ration my energy for that kind of thing
yes, i'm still very burned out in all aspects of my life - moving apartments has definitely helped, but it's a slow recovery, inching forward at a worm's pace
at the very least, folks and critters in my life are patient with me, and that makes all the difference
i've had brainworms for velvet worms again lately mraaaaar
i've been drawing them and writing a blog post all about them and watching videos and agdjfhfjdfh i love these critters so much!
(expect to see some stuff here once i defeat my weird brainfunk over posting online)

on a related note...after thinking on it a bit, i've decided that this opening will NOT be first come first served, and i will take inquiries from 4 PM to 8 PM PDT today. i hope this may relieve some stress on folks about getting their emails in, and going forward i may expand this to have an all-day opening period β¨
