Any steps towards transitioning must be done for yourself.

You are the one who will live with the consequences of your choices whether that is living as you already are or taking steps to change things.

This is something that simply must be about you.

You can have a gendered name and be nonbinary.

Also, women and men can have names that may be surprising for their gender.

It's even normal for the gender associated with a name to change over time.

Just do what you want with your name.

Whatever gender you were assigned with at birth is not shameful. It is not inherently better or worse than what other people started with.

It's simply a part of your history like many other fascinating aspects of you.

Your body is not bad or strange just because it might be different than a cis person's body.

Individual members of our species can be pretty varied for all kinds of reasons. You fit right in!

I see other trans people out and about and it makes me so happy.

Every day genderqueer, trans, and nonbinary people make the world a bit brighter and more complex.

Each of you shine like a galaxy in the deep, dark beauty of space.

You deserve access to all forms of gender-affirming care and legal resources as a nonbinary person.

Such things belong to (and are designed for) you as much as anyone else.

Other nonbinary and/or trans people can make great friends. If you can offer your company and accept theirs, then it'll most likely be worth it.

They'll help you bear the weight of living in a bigoted society, and you'll lighten their burden, too.
