Unsurprisingly, #LinkedIn is the last large #social media platform I am engaging with. Still plenty of value there for me. It makes me think that the #toxicsocial nature of platforms occurs when they get too large with no specific purpose or context. A large community can work if there is agreement on social norms. The norms of LinkedIn are close to the norms of a corporate workplace. It keeps guardrails on interactions in a way that purely "social" platforms can't replicate.
