I can't be the only 'sucker and loser' who is very concerned about the documents case against trump. Other veterans, military contractors, State Department people, how many of us are freaked out by judge Canon's inability to move that case forward.

So many people are utterly stunned that a 21 year old had access to top secret information. This shows a complete disconnect with the civilian populous and the military. I had a secret clearance at 19. Secret for mean meant technical spec for my ship. The average member of the military is 26. Not everything Top Secret is purely need to know.
Some IT, data worker and Crypto techs have to have access to top secret documents to sort and process them. Top secret is probably best understood mid-tier security. Absolute Need-to-know only is usually above top secret.
Trump leaked code-word secret secrets to Russia which is way higher than top secret, which not only almost certainly got someone killed but will make other nations and potential informants much less likely to trust us.
Trump also is being accused of having documents that should only exist and be viewed in a special room where you can't bring in any electronics and are swept for any surveillance devices. Also way higher than top secret.
The way they reacted is normal and expected, helicopters, black vans guns blazing is how the military responds to anyone else leaking or retaining documents. they asked Trump nicely multiple times before they calmly and respectfully forced their way in to search for documents.
This disconnect between civilian and military is why we were able to have a 20 year war. America doesn't lose war, it loses interest.
This disconnect is also why so few people were horrified at Trumps data leaks and Trump got away with freely giving away our secrets and national trust of our allies, informants and agents in the field.
