Apparently I have never before watched season 11 of #TheX-Files.

Not sure how I feel about it. It loses any veneer of seriousness and feels so campy and on the nose. Entertaining in a very different way than the original seasons I suppose, but I would say probably my least favorite season.

I cannot stress enough how much 'The Host' (S02E02) of 'The X-Files' creeped me the fuck out when I first saw it! Watching it again now it is no less a horror knock-out of an episode than it was 30 years ago.

It feels like there is no reason The X-Files was and is this good. It exists in such a strange liminal time and space for tv, horror, sci-fi, conspiracy theory, science and technology.
And it can still creep me the fuck out.
