Whether an Islamic Republic, Zionist State or Holy Empire, #theocracies have never proven to be a good thing.

Cognitive dissonance at extremum.

Unquestioningly support one of two militaristic authoritarian #theocracies, both lacking in #equaljustice and the #RuleOfLaw, both acting against #humanrights and outside of international agreements, including those for weapons of mass destruction?

Both would wage war in defense of their political ruling order.

We are to chose one, or be unpatriotic to our national interests?

A pox on both their houses, in their lingo.

#SecularDemocracy #FreedomFromReligion

One #theocracy is #hate-protected, and all the others not?

How a nation-state descibes itself matters, but what a nation-state does matters more, and is revealed when its history is later written in consensus.

Is that the role of #media in the USA?

Is that the role of #socialmedia in the USA?

How will history write our involvement with picking winner and loser #theocracies?

@FrenchHist In the face of people like #MTG in #Georgia and the #MullahRegime in #Iran, it is as vital today as it was in 1905.
#Theocracies don't lead to good government, quite the contrary.

#LiberalAustralia liberalaus and #LiberalVictoria have opened themselves up to capture by extremist people of faith. (As has #LiberalSA)

They aim is to create theocracies as we are seeing in #republican states in the #usa.

Such #theocracies are usually fascist by nature and end up harming or killing minorities and removing womens right.
