(Adnkronos) - Roma torna capitale mondiale del taekwondo e diventa un crocevia della corsa olimpica verso Los Angeles 2028. Dal 4 al 7 giugno la Grand Prix Arena del Foro Italico ospiterà il Roma 2026 World Taekwondo Grand Prix, prima tappa stagionale del circuito mondiale che riporta nella Capitale i migliori atleti internazionali e i grandi campioni azzurri. L’evento è stato presentato oggi nel Museo dell’Ara Pacis, alla presenza dei vertici della Federazione Italiana Taekwondo, della World Taekwondo e dei rappresentanti delle principali istituzioni sportive nazionali e di Roma. Un evento sempre più inclusivo, aperto al pubblico e che guarda al futuro La manifestazione torna a Roma per la quinta volta dopo le edizioni del 2018, 2019, 2022 e 2023, e inaugurerà le Grand Prix Series 2026, prima di spostarsi a Muju, in Corea del Sud (4-7 settembre), a Parigi, in Francia (8-11 ottobre), e ad Astana, in Kazakistan, per il Grand Prix Final (27-29 novembre).

(Adnkronos) - Rome returns as the world capital of taekwondo and becomes a crossroads for the Olympic race towards Los Angeles 2028. From June 4 to 7, the Grand Prix Arena of the Foro Italico will host the Rome 2026 World Taekwondo Grand Prix, the first stage of the season’s world circuit, bringing together the best international athletes and top Italian champions back to the Capital. The event was presented today at the Museo dell’Ara Pacis, in the presence of the leadership of the Italian Taekwondo Federation, World Taekwondo, and representatives of major national sports institutions and of Rome. A more inclusive event, open to the public and looking to the future. The event returns to Rome for the fifth time after the 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023 editions, and will inaugurate the Grand Prix Series 2026, before moving to Muju, South Korea (September 4-7), Paris, France (October 8-11), and Astana, Kazakhstan, for the Grand Prix Final (November 27-29).
