What do you mean #StarFleet colonizes? They don’t, they reach out for new civilizations, there is a difference between first contact and colonization.

Impose their rules and doctrines on others? Are you thinking #TerranEmpire? Starfleet invites, negotiates, compromises on what is not essential, stands fast for what it is.
