#TempleOfBoom at @[email protected] provokes us to reconsider how we turn buildings like the Parthenon into artefacts, when architecture is an artistic practise of utility and engagement. The ancient Parthenon was a working building.

Today, I’m at a media call for #TempleOfBoom - Adam Newman & Kelvin Tsang’s @[email protected] Architecture Commission for 2022. This scale replica of the Parthenon is going to be painted and repainted over with large-scale artworks by Melbourne artists.
