Found a neat little app for Linux that let's you draw/paint on your entire desktop. Am going to use it to make some tuts and stuff for my various Godot plugins.

Best installed via apt as none of the results in the snap store worked.

sudo apt install gromit-mpx

You hit F9 and just doodle. It's pretty good. OBS picks it up without much hassle.
