/will you knit our thoughts together/

Opposite eachother, seated,
the space between us small
but our hearts are far apart as
each of us divert out eyes away from the other.
god, /will you knit our thoughts together/?
We thought love would be our difference
but when the passion cooled it turned out
we just needed understanding.
Please let us see things through eachothers eyes.
