1枚目の写真は骨董市で売られていた太陽の塔。
2枚目の写真は2011年に万博記念公園で撮影した正面から見た太陽の塔。
3枚目の写真も2011年に万博記念公園で撮影した背面から見た太陽の塔。
背面からの写真は余り見かけないと思うので載せておきました。
正面の赤色と背面の深い緑色は、モザイクガラス製で岡本太郎さんがイタリア（ベネチア）まで行ってイメージに合う色合いのガラスをオーダーしたと何処かの本に書いてありました。
このモザイクガラスは定期保守で取り外されて新しいものに取り換えられます。取り外したガラスは公式に販売されています。
