Tansu inspired cabinet finally finished. I say inspired because I didn't model it after a particular style or type of tansu, just took some design cues. I hope to replicate some more traditional tansu in future.

Still need to shellac the outside.

Cherry wood with garnet shellac. Shoji doors are papered with Japanese mulberry paper and homemade rice glue.
