Expedition into the Frontend Jungle

Frontend technologies evolve rapidly, often outpacing their backend counterparts. Every few months, there seems to be a new kid on the block, demanding our immediate attention and often suggesting that our current technology stack is outdated. However, staying up-to-date with the latest frontend trends often diverts resources from addressing the real challenges in our client projects. This talk aims to provide a high-level overview of different frontend approaches tailored explicitly for TYPO3 sites. Besides the technology, we look at organizational and project parameters that might affect your frontend technology decision. By considering these factors together, you can make an informed decision that remains relevant, and stable decision over time. This talk was part of TYPO3 Developer Days 2023.
