The chances of women becoming equal, or the dominant power is slim, after all we only need to look at the US to see what happens when we are *allowed* a few *rights* like working outside the home for 25% lower wages than out male co-worker! Canada is the same there are attempts to rollback our rights, and we are equally as workplace poor as our female cousins in the US..
And no one needs to reply with "not all men" because if that was true, the ones who felt we should have equal rights would not be complicit as they are through their silence and lack of action.
