@noim I used #daisydisk stand alone version in administrator mode (not available in #appstore version) to identify users with large files (the about my mac - storage info does not show all users and allocates storage you have no access to as 'system data' which is a really silly name for 'everything else') and deleted the purgesble space (which contains #timemachine backusps even if only using external drive for TM) using daisydisk. I gained 600Gb with two clicks. #macOS #systemdata
