i finally got the inspiration to go to #svara's mishna collective so i logged in today, only to find out it was a weird meta-meeting as they prepare to switch over to daf shenati - reading a page of talmud each year. they were so, so refreshingly welcoming and open. like, adamant about my perspective being given equal importance as anyone else in the room. i tried to be a fly on the wall and they kept eliciting my opinion and input, until i was participating completely like i'd been there studying with them for weeks. super nice.

Hooray! First Orientation to Talmud class taught! I think it went okay. Next week: a dream come true: teaching SVARA-method talmud study.
