Biophotonic phenomena, & the recent discovery that the human brain emits light that penetrates the skull & exits the body (in all likelihood quantum entangled photons capable of transmitting information instantaneously back to neural tissue from unimaginable distances) is the most exciting fringe field of modern #superscience imo.
Sick as a dog, but my 3D printer is still as reliable as always. Still routinely astounded by the quality of prints one year on. No maintenance, no filament drying, same hot end from day 1. No supports or brim on this hollowed out tetrahedron! #3dprinting #superscience
Dragonfly wing pattern reinforces vaults and domes better than ancient Roman and tech-generated methods

Skoltech researchers and their colleagues from the University of Granada, Spain, have determined the most efficient ways to reinforce vaults and domes in architecture. The team compared how well various traditional and unconventional patterns of stiffening ribs enable a structure to withstand both evenly distributed and asymmetric loads.

“You’re taking a virus, a protein, a cell, etc., and you’re freezing it so quickly that the water solidifies without turning into ice crystals,” Kaelber said. “We actually can figure out what the amino acid sequence of the protein is without analyzing the DNA, and just by looking at that 3D structure, because we have such sharp resolution.” #superscience https://scitechdaily.com/responsible-for-a-nationwide-die-off-scientists-discover-fatal-superworm-virus/
Responsible for a Nationwide Die-Off: Scientists Discover Fatal Superworm Virus

A new virus killing superworms was discovered by Rutgers scientists using cryo-electron microscopy, offering insights into pathogen identification and potential outbreak management. Scientists from Rutgers University-New Brunswick have discovered a virus that has caused a nationwide die-off of su

I keep inventing things that didn't previously exist and have no conventional nomenclature. No one ever said how difficult this would be in relation to categorization and discoverability. Guess it's lucky I'm not doing this to make money, but it definitely exposes what I consider to be a pretty substantial weakness of the current "market" for previously unknown and unique artifacts. #superscience
@aewens haha! you're not wrong! I'm just messing around. The technical definition is a combination and integration of a broad array of different branches of science into a single comprehension. really it's just multidisciplinary science I suppose. #superscience!
Cool, so I'm going to be the first person to use this hashtag on here, #superscience - for those sharing an interest in the most occult branch of the sciences that transcends their general scientific scope, in defiance of their almost universally accepted laws. things like teleportation, perpetual motion, antigravity, reverse entropy, etc. welcome aboard.
