away with the fairies
for they have filled our dreams with want
our eyes with cupcakes

filling childhood skies
with razor wings and sugar coated
songs of power

like anopheles
they feed on our dazed belief
submerged in greed

we vandalise decrepit futures
chasing tales of ancient glory
dressed as suv

clap hands
if you would breathe
tomorrow
