So the issue may be related to the usage of them together with a streetboard. I guess that the pivoting movement of the plates or the lateral load may be the killer for them, but that's only a guess. I mean, the skateboarders I know who use them are happy with those bearings.

So I decided to not buy them anymore... at least not for streetboarding. Currently I'm super happy with Bones Reds. A friend of mine uses these without shields

BTW: my Bronson Raw bearings I bought last year in augus didn't last too long. About 1,5 - 2 months ago I noticed that they became really loud. There was a kind of "knocking" sound you know what I mean? And so I thought I give them a little oil, but that actually made it worse and the became so loud, that I bought a set of Bones Reds and swapped them directly. A friend of mine who's also a streetboarder has made similar experiences.

This is the small skate park n Rendsburg/ Osterrönfeld. Quite nice - not so bad! ☺️ The distance between the obstacles is quite small and so it’s a bit hectic, but one can get used to it ☺️
